Engineering Chemistry (I/I)

Hi,

For Chemistry, the book provided by the Library i.e. Chemistry - Jain Jain is sufficient. It's the best from exam point of view and concept too.

Any comment, opinions and suggestions are welcomed.

C Programming (I/I)

Hi,

Good to see you.

Many of the students find this particular subject (C Programming) a bit difficult(due to lack of base in programming). Most of them fail in this subject and are still appearing its back paper though they're in 3rd or even 4th year. Here are some tips that will help you in C.

The books that I recommend are:
1. Let Us C - Yashwant Kanetkar (can be obtained from Library)
This book is perfect for those who think that they don't even know how to write a simple program in C(i.e. begineers). This doesn't mean that this book can't be used by experts. The thing is that this book is concept based. And it can easily teach you C, I guarantee it.

Link to download this book:

2.Learning C By Examples - Krishna Kandel (may be in Library)
Since the author of this book is a lecturer of TU, this book can be preferred from exam point of view. But be aware of this book, it has lots of syntax errors. So this book is not preferred for begineers. You can follow this book only when you have enough knowledge about syntax, function etc.

3. Programming with C - Gottfried
As this book has many detail information about C, this book is not preferred for Civil engineers. But Electronics and Computer faculty can use it since they need programming a lot in other semesters. This book is obtained as semester book from Library. So I don't provide its download link.

If you find this subject really difficult, I suggest you to start with a book named "Let Us C - Yashwant Kanetkar". This book is a pioneer in C programming. It's suitable for begineers. It's famous because of its simple language.
